Alkhair Corporation was founded at the beginning of octets of the last century to work in different business activities until they settled and confined activity in 1993 in the field of importing and marketing medicines and medical appliances under the trade name, Alkhair Pharma For Medicines and Medical appliances, which is registered in the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Public Health, it is headquarter located in the city of Aden , the second largest city in Yemen and the Economical capital of the Republic of Yemen.
We have worked over the past years to establish a baseline for the supply and distribute of medicines and medical appliances. In order to supply a complete range of medicines and medical appliances we had selected good reputed manufacturers and good products which are met the international standards, witnessing by all laboratory testing companies. At the same time ensure that our prices are suitable for income Yemeni citizen . We have developed our plans that we are diversifying our products to include various pharmaceutical forms . Today, we have a complete range of dosage forms containing :
Tablets, capsule , ointment , syrups, eye and ear drops, intravenous fluids , Water for injection, powder and liquid injections , syringes , IV cannula, sutures , sugar and pressure devices , cotton , many of the medical appliances and devices.
At present we are the exclusive representatives in Yemen for ten international manufacturers of medicines and medical appliances from various countries, including Korea , Turkey, India , and China, and still aspire to contract with other partners in order to expand our business and add new products to our activity .
In the marketing side , we have worked to complete the establishment of marketing branches in all major Yemeni cities , including Aden where our main warehouses are located, and the city of Sana’a, the capital of the Republic of Yemen , and the cities of Hodeida , Taiz , Mukalla , and Sayoun. As well as we were able to deliver our products to many of the minor cities through the delivery of products across our fleet of cars and marketing workers or through appointed agents in that minor cities.
Annual sales revenues are developed from less half million dollars before a decade ago to nearly two million dollars in the last year , this development coincided with the ongoing annual additions in the number of our partners and in the amount of marketed products, also the associated steps in expansion the sales area throughout Yemen land.
Existing staff in all departments of Alkhiar Pharma are distributed between the administrative work and service, sales and promotion. In the administrative and services we have 8 employees, and in the field of marketing and promotion we have 20 employees equipped with all marketing and promotion facilities, those are distributing in our branches in various provinces .
In the banking relations we have been keen from the start to deal sincerely with the local banks in the fulfillment of our obligations towards the banks and accordingly to our partners, and we have gained a good reputation that we have acquired through the bank facilities which helped us to expand our activity . Among the local banks that we deal with : Saba Islamic Bank , Tadhamon Islamic bank, Yemen Bahrain bank , Yemen Kuwait bank , Yemen Islamic Bank, and National Bank of Yemen , these bank of stable financial situation are dealing internationally with renowned international banks such as Citibank , Ubaf bank, Commerzbank and others, and this ensures the payment of our obligations to our partners at the time.
